what a happy little guy!

industrial-strength slobber.

cutest tigger ever:

ttfn: ta ta for now!
tyler short was in my wedding last year and is one of my closest friends from college.

their family hadn’t gotten a portrait taken for 14 years. they have a great picture above their fireplace, it’s just that mariesa is only a few years out of diapers. mrs. short knew exactly what she wanted. the same pose; more aged people.
they had coordinated their colors marvelously.

in the field behind their house, everyone fought the wind. mrs. short never took her eyes off the camera, though.
a rainbow of colors.

thanks for feeding us dinner too! we had a great time.
on july 5, 2006, we added a new member to our family–tiny bob! he is a 6 pound yorkie-poo named after my old dog bob. they look just alike, except for size. when tiny bob isn’t busy chewing up toilet paper, he likes to kiss, run in circles, and chase laser pointers.
here are some of my favorite pictures of him so far:

he likes to cock his head to the side and look up at us in a perplexed sort of way.

woo-hoo! we submitted 4 pictures to eventpix.com for their national photography contest back in september. we are honored to have had 2 of them selected to be semi-finalists. wish us luck for the awards ceremony in january!
this one is a winner from the humor category. it’s nelson in the kayak with a friend from college driving his SUV (its his kayak too) down our street at home. we titled it “suburban kayaking”

this one is from the portraits category. it’s from a senior shoot we did in 2006 of brandon. it sorta has an american idol feel to it.

we were very excited to shoot christine’s senior pictures because i knew her family! i got to babysit her younger siblings during the summer of 2005 and absolutely loved it.
here is christine’s then 2 year old sister, rachel. she loved the camera. isn’t she adorable?

big sister turned out to be a great model too!

this is my favorite image from the shoot and one of my favorites of all time.

thanks, christine!
